Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Beijing, joining other African leaders to discuss strengthening China-Africa relations.
In his opening speech, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that China is prepared to collaborate with African nations to implement ten partnership action plans over the next three years.
These plans aim to promote modernization and further cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, infrastructure development, and agriculture.
It seeks to enhance technology, mutual development and shared prosperity between China and Africa too.
FOCAC kicked off on Thursday in Beijing.
