The 4th meeting of the Somali Quint took place in Ankara.
Several representatives from various nations around the world were at the meeting.
Countries represented at the meeting included Somalia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Others were the United Kingdom, Turkey, and the United States.
Participants discussed a number of issues such as anti-terrorism operations and strategies.
They also discussed stabilization and the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
Somalia’s representatives included Ali Omar, Hussein Sheikh-Ali, and Abdihakim M. Yusuf.
Omar is a State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sheikh-Ali is the National Security Adviser in the Office of the President.
Yusuf is the Chief of Staff of the President of Somalia.
