Thousands of households in the conflict-ridden Sool region have received millions of litres of clean and safe water.
Reports show that 5,000 households in Sool and Ceyn received 6.7 million litres of clean water from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
USAID provided the water jointly with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Both organizations said that the provision of water was part of their response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis caused by the Las Anod clashes.
They offered non-food items (NFIs) to around 1,500 households too.
USAID and IOM followed this up by shipping 9,000 plastic sheets to Las Anod too.
