The 5th National Economic Policy Forum on Growth and Economic Transformation Strategy (GETS) is currently underway.
The forum kicked off on Monday, June 20.
Several senior Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) officers attended the first day of the forum.
The National Economic Council (NEC) organized the forum, which is in its fifth year in the East African nation.
Mahdi M. Gulaid, the Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, delivered the opening remarks.
Some of Somalia’s international partners sent their representatives to attend the forum too.
