60 Al-Shabaab Militants Arrive in Bari after Fleeing Mudug

At least 60 Al-Shabaab militants arrived in Bari by boat after fleeing the fighting that has been going on in Mudug.

The militants fled from Mudug following heavy gunfights with government troops in Harardhere village.

Members of the specially trained Daesh Forces have engaged fighters from the Al-Qaeda linked group in intense fight over the last one month.

Somali National Army (SNA) troops also joined the fight thus forcing the extremists to flee the region and move towards Bari.

The extremists arrived in Bari, which has a reputation for being a terror hotbed due to the presence of Al-Shabaab and Islamic State fighters, by boat.

The mountainous region of Bari appeals to the militia from the two organizations that then attack each other and government troops from the remote villages they control.
