Somaliland has recorded eight new COVID-19 cases, which bring the tally of individuals diagnosed with the disease to 225.
While issuing the daily updates, the country’s Ministry of Health also announced two more recoveries to bring the of individuals to have recovered from the disease to 23.
The health ministry also indicated that deaths remain at 17.
While giving more details about the new cases, the health ministry also clarified that the patients are in their 20s and 60s.
All the eight individuals are in Hargeisa, the country’s capital.
