The World Food Programme (WFP) Country Representative for Somalia held talks with the Puntland President.
El-Khidir Daloum visited Puntland’s President Said Abdullahi Deni on Wednesday.
Daloum started by congratulating Deni for winning last month’s presidential polls in Puntland.
Their discussions then veered towards WFP’s portfolio.
The growing shift towards food resilience and development also featured prominently in their talks.
Daloum reassured Deni of WFP’s commitment to strengthening the partnership with Puntland.
