Mogadishu was the host city for this year’s Annual Somali Prosecutors Conference.
The conference, which was in its sixth year, attracted several prosecutors from different parts of the country.
Hassan Moallin, the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, attended it on February 14.
This year’s edition focused on developing strategies for combating all forms of organized crime.
Moallin addressed participants in the conference. He highlighted the progress made in developing the appropriate legal frameworks.
He added that laws are in place only awaiting approval from the relevant authorities.
The minister reiterated that the country would no longer be a haven for terrorists once the laws and legal frameworks are in place.
