Turkish Airlines resumed its flights to Mogadishu on Wednesday.
The airlines stopped its flights to the Somalia capital on Tuesday following a travel advisory issued by the United States government.
On Monday, the US Embassy in Nairobi announced that it received intel on impending terror attacks in Mogadishu.
The embassy stated that the attacks would target Aden Adde International Airport.
Other sites would also be targeted in the attack.
Turkish Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines had both canceled their flights.
However, the latter is yet to resume the Mogadishu flights citing “lack of passengers” as the reason for that.
