One of Mogadishu’s most famous universities has laid a foundation stone at the site where it plans to construct a new campus.
Officials from Mogadishu’s SIMAD University laid the foundation stone on June 27 for a new campus that would host 15,000 students.
The campus would be for students studying science and technology.
Apart from hosting the science and technology students, the new campus would also have a large referral hospital.
The executive 300-bed referral hospital would treat patients from different parts of the country.
