A powerful storm is scheduled to hit the northeastern parts of Somalia within the next 24 hours.
A statement from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has revealed this.
The ministry published the statement on November 24.
According to the ministry, the storm is currently traveling at speeds of up to 35km/hour.
The storm is likely to land at the shores of Bari region between Wednesday and Thursday.
Consequently, local residents have been urged to leave the area and move to much safer grounds until the storm passes.
