Unknown people in Kenya have abducted a Somali-Kenya scholar and analyst on Horn of Africa’s affairs.
According to sources, the whereabouts of Abdiwahab Sheikh Abdisamad remain unknown after unknown people abducted him on a Nairobi street on September 9.
His family and eyewitnesses said that the scholar was walking on a street along the Central Business District (CBD) when he was kidnapped.
Four men accosted and bundled him into a car along Tubman Road near the popular City Market.
Reportedly, the incident took place on Thursday morning.
Speaking from their residential house in Nairobi’s South C estate, the scholar’s family appealed for help from the state.
They said that Abdisamad had no known enemies.
