Mahdi M. Gulaid, the Acting Prime Minister of Somalia, chaired a meeting of three ministries of the Federal Government of Somalia in his offices today.
The meeting incorporated the Ministry of Finance as well as the Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development.
Officials from the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources were also at the meeting.
According to a communiqué from the Office of the Prime Minister, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss petroleum financing.
Additionally, the ministers discussed financial governance with the Prime Minister.
The Acting Prime Minister urged the ministries and all stakeholders to use the country’s actual and prospective resources for the benefit of every Somali.
