On Tuesday, Acting Prime Minister Mahdi M. Gulaid presided over a meeting of the National Economic Roadmap in Mogadishu.
Participants at the meeting discussed several issues.
First, were the ongoing reforms on trade facilitation. Secondly, they also talked about the progress made on World Trade Organization (WTO) accession.
Further, the Prime Minister Gulaid assured all stakeholders of the government’s commitment to the reforms needed to integrate Somalia fully into the global economic community.
He also reminded the participants that the government would not rest on its laurels until Somalia is part of the global multilateral trading system.
