The Acting United Nations Special Representative for Somalia arrived in Mogadishu on Sunday.
James Swan, who is also the Head of the UN Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM), arrived at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
At the airport to welcome him were senior Somali government officials.
Daud Aweis, the Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, led his fellow senior government officials in welcoming Swan to the country.
