Somalia’s Auditor General addressed his colleagues at the meeting of African Auditor-Generals in the Gambia.
Auditor General delivered the opening remarks at the 2022 Strategic Review and the 18th Governing Board Meeting.
Gambia is hosting this year’s event.
Currently, Auditor General Mohamed Ali Afgoi serves as the Chairperson of AFROSAIE, the body featuring Auditor-Generals from 26 English-speaking nations of Africa.
The theme of this year’s conference is the importance of using government audits to increase accountability and reduce corruption.
