The commander of the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) was in talks for talks with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The talks between the US Marine Corps Gen. Michael Langley, the AFRICOM Commander, and the President took place on Thursday.
Langley has been in the country for the last two days.
Mohamud briefed Langley on the ongoing counterterrorism offensives in different regions of the country.
He also commended AFRICOM for supporting Somalia with Military training and equipment.
