Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi was in Riyadh to attend the 3rd Arab Environment Forum.
Al-Makhzoumi traveled for the forum in her capacity as Somalia’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
The theme for this year’s forum is “Rehabilitating Lands to Enhance Resilience.”
Environment minister Al-Makhzoumi attended the forum that ran from June 3-4.
She joined other participants in discussing ways of enhancing cooperation between member nations to not only restore but also protect natural ecosystems in the Arab world.
