The Al-Shabaab Militant group has sent a federal Senator in Somalia to call for a cessation of the ongoing military airstrikes in the Middle Shabelle region.
Reports indicate that the group sent Senator Muse Sudi to meet and speak with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on this matter.
In recent days, the government has joined forces with local heroes to wage an unstoppable offensive against Al-Shabaab bases, leaders, and operations in the region.
A few days ago, President Mohamud traveled to Middle Shabelle to mobilize the Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF) to wage a successful war against the terrorists.
