Al-Shabaab has sensationally claimed that it killed 10 Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers in Ba’adweyn.
The militia group issued a statement through its friendly sources in the media claiming that it clashed with and killed the soldiers on January 24.
The militants clashed with SNA soldiers in a region that is close to 150kms to the southeast of Galkayo.
Sunday’s clashes between the federal troops and militants started when the latter carried out a mortar attack.
There has been no word from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) regarding the attack or Al-Shabaab claims, though.
