Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the deadly terror attack on Gelato Divino restaurant in Mogadishu.
The attack took place on Friday, November 27.
It caused the deaths of at least eight people while injuring tens more with the figure expected to increase.
On Saturday, November 28, the Al-Qaeda linked militia released a statement saying that its fighters executed the attack to perfection.
Its statement on the attack was published by friendly media outlets.
Gelato Divino restaurant is close to Halane Base Camp, which hosts the offices of African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM), as well as other international bodies.
