Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility over the deadly Galkayo Stadium attack that killed top Somali National Army (SNA) commanders.
On December 18, a stadium in Galkayo where Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble was to hold an event was rocked by a huge blast.
Several top army commanders lost their lives in the incident.
Civilians too were killed as the blast shook the venue to its foundations.
Later in the day, Al-Shabaab released a statement through media-friendly sources confirming that it was behind the shocking incident.
