Al-Shabaab militants have executed a Somali man accused of spying for Ethiopia National Defense Forces (ENDF).
According to Al-Shabaab sources, the man works for the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and the regional troops of the Southwest state.
Al-Shabaab militants have a history of executing individuals they suspect of working for the enemies.
The man was identified as a 34-year old Nunow Sanweyne.
He was executed by Al-Shabaab’s firing squad.
Al-Shabaab executed him at Bula-Fulay town in front of local residents. Hundreds of local civilians watched in despair as the militants executed Sanweyne.
