Al-Shabaab fighters executed five Somali men for spying.
The execution took place in Lower Shabelle on Thursday.
Al-shabaab accused them of spying for Somali and the United States governments.
However, the militants never prevented any evidence to back their claims.
The execution, which was public, took place in Kunyo Barrow town.
The execution comes at a time of increased military offensives against the terrorists.
They are on the verge of losing to the government troops.
