Al-Shabaab Identify Nairobi’s Dusit Hotel Attackers

Al-Shabaab has identified the people responsible for one of the deadliest terror attacks in a Nairobi hotel.

Dusit Hotel in Nairobi was the target of a deadly attack by suspected members of the Al-Shabaab militia on January 15, 2019.

On December 12, Al-Shabaab identified the attackers as Ali Salim Gichunge Abu Sakeena and Mahir Khalid Riziki Jibril alias Simba.

Others were Osman Ahmed Hassan Azzam, Abdulqani Arab Yusuf Farhan Dheere, and Muhammad Adan Nur Farhan Yare.

Last year’s attack left more than 20 people dead.

Dusit is not only an office complex but also one of the most modern luxury hotels in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.

In last year’s attack, terrorists associated with the Al-Qaeda linked group launched an attack at the hotel that lasted over 19 hours.
