Al-Shabaab militants have slaughtered more than 300 goats in Mahas.
The militants slaughtered the goats that belong to the residents of an area that is near El-Hero.
Mumin Mohamed, a District Commissioner of Mahas in Hiiraan, confirmed that the shocking incident that took place on Thursday left residents shocked.
The slaughter has left local residents with huge losses.
This comes at a time when the devastating drought has already annihilated most of the livestock in different parts of the region.
