Al-Shabaab terrorists have struck again in Mogadishu.
They attacked Pearl Hotel in Mogadishu’s Libo Beach on Friday night.
A statement from Somali Police Force (SPF) shows that the attack commenced at 7.55 pm.
Thereafter, nine people lost their lives. These included six civilians and three security personnel.
Ten people escaped with injuries for which they were rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
Heroic security officers managed to rescue 84 people that included women, children, and the elderly.
They conducted an operation to neutralize the militants and eventually succeeded at 2 am.
Police sources added that seven Al-Shabaab terrorists were involved in the attack.
