Al-Shabaab has threatened the United States with an attack.
Mahad Karate, the Al-Shabaab leader, vowed this on Friday.
Karate said that his organization will attack the US soon.
He added that Al-Shabaab would be avenging the recent airstrike by the US Africa Command (AFRICOM) in El Lahelay.
AFRICOM led the Somali National Army (SNA) in carrying out at airstrike at El Lahelay that caused a number of deaths.
Three senior Al-Shabaab commanders lost their lives.
Five civilians also died in the airstrike.
