Al-Shabaab has vowed to attack Kenya over the continued killing of Muslims.
The militia group released a press statement dated Saturday, August 27 accusing Kenya of invading Somalia illegitimately.
According to the statement, Kenya is in Somalia illegally.
Al-Shabaab accused Kenyan forces of killing Muslims in Somalia since entering the country more than 10 years ago.
Further, it accused Kenyan authorities of “upholding and implementing oppression against Muslims.”
The militant group vowed to continue attacking Kenyan towns and cities.
