A man who served as Al-Shabaab’s medical worker for years has defected to the government.
Yusuf Sheikh Hassan surrendered to Somali National Army (SNA) after 12 years of serving the terrorist group.
He has been in charge of providing Al-Shabaab fighters with medical services for all those years.
On Friday, he surrendered to government forces that were in Bakool on a military assignment.
