Algeria Vows to Help Somalia in the Fight against Terrorism

Algeria has vowed to join hands with Somalia in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

Kamel Rezig, the Algerian Minister of Trade and Industry, made this vow during his meeting and discussions with Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre of Somalia.

Rezig and the Somali Premier met in Tunis.

They are attending the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8), which runs from August 27-28 in Tunis, Tunisia.

Rezig assured the Somali Prime Minister that Algeria would help the East African nation to fight terrorists.

Further, he also promised Algerian assistance with the ongoing drought response measures in Somalia.
