Almost 400,000 children in Somalia could drop out of school as the ongoing severe drought continues to bite.
CARE International Somalia released a report talking about this issue.
In its report, which came out on May 11, CARE International cites the ongoing drought as a serious problem for the education of children in Somalia.
Drought has grown into a massive challenge in the East African nation.
Combined with the recent COVID-19 pandemic and the growing insecurity in the country, drought has displaced hundreds of thousands of families throughout Somalia.
The displacement means children are no longer able to attend school.
