Ambassador Osman Urges International Partners to Help Country Credible Institutions

Ambassador Abukar Osman Baale, Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, urged international partners to help the country to build credible institutions.

Baale made this call on November 13 when addressing the United Nations Security Council meeting.

During his speech, Ambassador Baale “encouraged Somalia’s partners to invest in sustainable solutions.”

He specifically mentioned the need to build credible institutions.

Additionally, Ambassador Baale requested the country’s international partners to support its regional efforts aimed at curbing “internal and external threats.”

Baale told the UNSC that the above solutions are perfect for ensuring that Somalia enjoys lasting peace and stability.
