The Arab League has encouraged the people and government of Somalia to pursue increased stability and development in the country.
Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, the Secretary General of the Arab League, said this during his talks with a delegation from Somalia.
Aboul-Gheit stated this during his meeting with Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble on Tuesday, August 17.
During the talks, the Arab League Secretary General commended Somalia for the recent steps it has taken to achieve national consensus.
The Arab League leader promised that his organization would continue supporting Somalia’s pursuit of peace, stability, security, and development.
