Armed militia killed two members of the same family in a shocking incident in the Lower Juba town of Dhobley.
Reports from the region indicate that the two individuals passed away when armed militants attacked the town on June 2.
The incident happened on Wednesday night.
Sources believe that the killings were the result of clan-based conflicts, which have become frequent occurrences in Dhobley and Afmadow.
Security forces arrived at the scene of the killings immediately after they received information.
They launched investigations into the incident but are yet to apprehend any of the militants who killed the two family members.
