Armed residents of a district in Galgadud region are ready to join the second phase of counterterrorism operations in Somalia.
Sources revealed that over 300 armed local residents of Guri-El district are ready to team up with the military in the operations.
The federal government has announced the commencement of phase two of the operations.
They will be part of operations designed to liberate the East African nation from the control and terror of Al-Shabaab.
