The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) has discussed ways of improving relations with the Somali Police Force (SPF).
On Friday, Brig. Gen. Zakia Hussen held discussions with Souef Mohamed El-Amine on this issue.
Brig. Gen. Hussen is the Deputy Commander of SPF while El-Amine is the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the AU Commission (SRCC) in Somalia and the Head of ATMIS.
They agreed that SPF would benefit greatly from improved relations with ATMIS.
