The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) commended outgoing Ugandan troops for exemplary service.
ATMIS said that the outgoing Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) offered “distinguished and steadfast” service.
Maj. Gen. Peter Kimani Muteti, the Acting Force Commander of ATMIS’ Battle Group 35 hailed the resilience and professional service displayed by the UPDF troops.
