The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) has congratulated Somali National Army (SNA) for liberating three Galmudug towns.
ATMIS published a press release dated January 17 hailing the incredible work of the SNA troops in liberating El-Dheer, Galcad, and Harardhere towns.
In the press release, Ambassador Mohamed El-Amine Souef stated that ATMIS would continue providing the support that SNA needs to keep Somalia free of terrorists.
Amb. Souef is the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC).
He also doubles as the ATMIS chief.
The SRCC added that Al-Shabaab has lost considerable ground in the ongoing battle with SNA and local communities.
