ATMIS Continues Running Weekly Free Medical Camps in Dhobley

The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) continues running weekly free medical camps for the residents of Dhobley.

ATMIS troops from the Kenya Defense Force (KDF) have been providing the camps for several months now on Tuesday of every week.

This week was no different.

According to ATMIS, the camps are part of the KDF’s mission Civil-Military Cooperation Initiative (CIMIC) in Somalia.

Residents report to the camps for free medical consultations.

They also benefit from minor surgeries.

The free medical camps improve access to quality medical healthcare services while impacting the health of the local community positively.
