The Deputy Force Commander of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) troops concluded his official visit to Puntland.
Maj. Gen. Peter Muteti had been in the regional state of Puntland for the past two days.
He concluded his trip on Tuesday.
Maj. Gen. Muteti, who is in charge of Support and Logistics, took time to assess the welfare of ATMIS troops stationed in Dhobley.
Muteti commended the Kenyan contingent for serving ATMIS with utmost dedication and professionalism.
He hailed them for the role they played in reducing the threats that Al-Shabaab militants pose in the area.
