The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) is focused on improving collaboration with civil society organizations.
On Tuesday, Souef Mohamed El-Amine, the Head of ATMIS, revealed this following fruitful discussions with civil society representatives.
Ambassador El-Amine and the representatives of civil society organizations met at the ATMIS headquarters.
He commended the civil society for a stellar job and contributions made in numerous peacebuilding initiatives in the East African nation.
