The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) handed over another military base to Somali National Army (SNA).
ATMIS officials were in HirShabelle to hand over the Forward Operating Base (FBO) in Cadale to SNA.
The handing over event took place on Tuesday.
ATMIS has been handing over several FOBs as part of the drawdown of its forces by the end of June 2023.
The organization plans to reduce its presence in Somalia by as much as 2,000 forces by June 30.
