Daud Aweis represented Somalia at the funeral of the former President of Tanzania.
Aweis, the Minister of Information, delivered the condolences of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud at ex-President Ali Hassan Mwinyi.
The former Tanzanian leader was laid to rest on Saturday a few days after passing away on February 29.
