Daud Aweis has called upon Muslim nations around the world to enhance media laws.
Aweis, the Somali Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, issued this call in a speech delivered in Jeddah.
He was speaking at the International Forum on the Role of Media in Fueling Hatred and Violence.
“Enhancing media principles and standards in Muslim nations is an effective way of tackling propaganda,” he added.
