Baidoa will host a meeting featuring federal and regional leaders to discuss the ongoing offensives against Al-Shabaab.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is expected to join other leaders in Baidoa.
The President would chair the meeting between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS).
According to the government, the National Consultative Council (NCC) would start on March 14.
Previously, President Mohamud chaired the last NCC in September 2022 in Villa Somalia.
