A new television station – Banaadir TV – has been launched.
Governor Omar M. M. Filish, who heads the Banadir Regional Adminstration (BRA), launched the TV station on September 2.
Filish is also the Mayor of Mogadishu.
He launched the TV station at a colorful ceremony held on Thursday in the nation’s capital – Mogadishu.
The move allows Banadir to join other Federal Member States (FMS) that also have their own media stations.
