Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre and United Nations Special Representative James Swan discussed enhanced collaboration between Somalia and the UN.
The Prime Minister and Swan discussed this matter on Tuesday when the latter visited Barre at his office in Mogadishu.
Swan, who arrived in Somalia over the weekend, has been quite busy meeting several senior Somali government officials.
Prime Minister Barre lauded UN for the support it continues to offer the East African nation in different areas.
Specifically, Prime Minister Barre called for increased collaboration in humanitarian work.
He encouraged Swan to urge the UN in helping the federal government to stabilize areas freed from Al-Shabaab.
