Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has called for sustainable growth between South Korea and Africa.
The Somali Prime Minister issued this call on Tuesday when he addressed other Heads of State and Government at the Korea-Africa Summit.
He is one of the leaders from the African continent attending the maiden summit in Seoul.
Prime Minister Barre also called for increased solidarity between the leaders from South Korea and Africa.
In his speech, Prime Minister Barre highlighted the incredible progress that Somalia has made and continues to make.
Somalia’s potential for investment also featured prominently in Barre’s address.
He encouraged South Korean investors to invest in Somalia in areas such as renewable energy, natural resources, and agriculture.
