Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre inaugurated the Tubsan Center in Mogadishu.
The Prime Minister inaugurated the center on Wednesday.
Tubsan refers to Somalia’s National Center for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism.
Ibrahim Mohamed was at the inauguration event too.
Mohamed is the Head of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Mission to Somalia.
Prime Minister Barre said that the center represents an important milestone for Somalia.
In his view, the center would help prevent, counter, and fight terrorism in the East African nation.
